The Archdiocese of St. Louis has developed a new system for safe environment compliance called Prevent and Protect STL.
All volunteers and employees who work with or minister to minors and vulnerable adults in the Archdiocese are required to register in the new system. Including those new to service and those currently in service at Mary Queen of Peace and School must follow these requirements and be in full compliance.This includes:
There is no cost to you. Mary Queen of Peace covers the cost of the Background Check.
Anyone who works with or near minors must complete the following form:

1. Go to https://www.preventandprotectstl.org
2. Click “Register” below the LOG IN button (image at the right).
3. Enter the passcode stlprotect when prompted.
4. Select the type of location where you are a volunteer or an employee: Parish or Parish School
5. Select the specific location by name: Mary Queen of Peace
6. Click the roles associated with your employment/ service at the parish.
7. Complete your personal information. Please enter your legal first name for the purposes of the background screening.
8. Create a username, password and password clue.
9. Agree to the Terms of Use and click SUBMIT.
10. You will then be prompted to submit information for the following:
* If you have already attended a PGC workshop, the system will find and/or ask you to confirm your previous record of attendance. You will not be prompted to register for an upcoming workshop.
You may use the links in your approval checklist to access these requirements. These steps may be completed all at once or maybe completed separately at your convenience.
You will receive a weekly automated email to remind you which requirements are outstanding.
When all compliance requirements have been completed, your account will be approved and you will be clear to work with/and or minors and vulnerable adults.
NOTE: If you are under 18 years old or still in high school, and wish to volunteer at St. Peter Church and School, please complete the Code of Ethical Conduct for Minors form.
