Dear Friends,

The Webster/Kirkwood Penance Service is on Monday, April 7 beginning at 6pm. (This is joint venture with Holy Redeemer and St. Peter.) 13 priests will be available to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation with you. If it’s been a year, you’re due for a spiritual cleaning! Time to change the oil and rotate the tires of your soul!

I am pleased to announced that our Compassion in Action Fund is back up and running. The Compassion in Action Fund (CIA) was started by one of my predecessors as a way to provide short time emergency funding for a family in financial crisis. If you ever find yourself in dire straits and need emergency financial assistance for everything from tuition and household expenses to your mortgage and medical prescriptions, the CIA can help. Again, this is designed for short-term emergency assistance. So, if you’re in need, all you have to do is contact the pastor and go from there. If you’d like to donate to the CIA, you can either do so on the OSV online giving portal or drop a check in the Sunday basket with CIA in the memo line.

We celebrate our 8th grade students who celebrated and received a new Outpouring of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit last Monday! These young people have completed their Initiation into the Church and are now empowered members of the Body of Christ; called to share their gifts with the Community to enrich the Church here at MQP and beyond. We welcome you and look forward to benefiting from your energy and enthusiasm for the Lord Jesus.

April 19: Holy Saturday Easter Vigil, 8pm (does fulfill the Sunday obligation)

April 20: Easter Sunday Masses, 7:30, 9 & 11am
