The MQP Parish Dinner Auction is a Biennial
Auction in November for parishioners, sponsors, advertisers, and friends &
family of MQP parishioners. It is run
by parish volunteers and is led by our parish Home & School Board.
Mary Queen of Peace Parish relies heavily upon your donations to raise
the funds needed to supplement the operating expenses of our school and church
such as: upkeep, improvements,
technology, teacher salaries, teacher training, and supplies.
The Parish Dinner Auction is our
largest fundraiser occurring every 2 years in November.
History of the MQP Auction:
The very first Parish Dinner Auction was held in 2004.
This will be our 4th Parish Dinner
Auction and it will be co-chaired by Michael & Janet Leigh and Dan & Sarah
Wessel. Our 3 main goals are: #1) to
raise over $150,000, #2) to
increase the attendance by keeping ticket prices low & adding entertainment, and
#3) to provide you with a fun & memorable evening with friends.
The Auction is made possible by
gracious sponsorships, the support of local advertisers, hardworking parish
volunteers, and by your generous donations.
Sponsorships:
Sponsorships are needed to
help fund the auction expenses such
as: dinner & drinks, rentals,
invitations & mailings, entertainment, and a few items purchased for the
auction. Sponsorships are tax
deductable and this year we have many new sponsorship levels.
Advertisers:
Advertisers are needed to
help fund the Catalog, signage, and other printing expenses.
Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed
before, during, and after the auction.
To volunteer and help make this year’s auction a big success,
please contact Janet or Sarah.
Donations:
Donations are needed to
make the auction successful. You
can make a cash donation to MQP or check out the Donation Wish List below.
Every generous donation is helpful, there is no donation is too big or
too small. Click on Donations to display
the donation form.
Please consider the above opportunities to help
make the 2010 Parish Auction
A BEAUTIFUL DAY!
Thank You for Your Generosity, Sincerely;
Michael & Janet Leigh
